Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Can I drop off my pet early?
Of course! If your mornings are as busy as ours, we totally understand. Just give us a ring to arrange an early drop-off time. We're here to make your day a little easier!
Do you operate by appointment only?
Yes, we do! Making appointments helps us keep wait times short and stress levels low—for both pets and owners. Plus, it's a big help in managing everything smoothly during these times. Be sure to give us a call before you come by!
Curious about our vet schedules?
Dr. Nyssa Ross is in Tuesday through Friday and alternate Mondays and Saturdays, from 8 AM to noon. Dr. Briony Starer keeps a similar schedule. Your pet's health is our top priority!
What if my pet has an emergency after hours?
Rest assured, we have a plan for that. For emergencies outside our regular hours, we work with the Animal Referral Hospital in West Gosford. Your pet's well-being is always covered, day or night.
My pet was treated here, but the issue seems to have returned. Can I get more medicine?
We're here to help! If it's been more than 6 months since your last visit, we'll need to see your furry friend again. It's all about keeping them happy and healthy!
Can I pay later?
We understand vet bills can be unexpected. Payment is due on the day, but let's chat if you need some flexibility—we can discuss options like Zip Pay for a bit of extra breathing room.
What vaccinations does my dog need and when?
From C3 to C5 and beyond, we've got your dog covered. Vaccinations are crucial to protect against serious illnesses and keep tails wagging!
Should I brush my pet's teeth?
Absolutely! Dental care is so important for their overall health. Regular brushing and check-ups help prevent pain and illness, ensuring your furry friend stays happy and healthy.
How can I tell if my pet has worms?
Regular check-ups and preventive care are key. Look out for signs like diarrhea or weight loss, and we'll help keep your pet free from pesky parasites!
Why are your services more expensive?
Because we're committed to providing the highest quality care—from fear-free handling to comprehensive medical services. Your pet deserves nothing less!
